AMI 0–3 Diploma Course for 2025
◆ AMI Montessori 0–3 Diploma Course
The 0–3 Diploma Course, recognised by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), trains adults to work with children under three years of age.
The Montessori Assistants to Infancy Training began in 1947 in Rome. Based on thousands of hours of observation of infants and very young children, the work predated many contemporary findings, including self-hypnosis for childbirth, gentle birth, the awareness of infants, the importance of touch and communication, as well as language, music and joy in the environment. Open space and interesting objects encourage free movement and exploration. Special clothing, furnishings and toys made with careful attention to detail are designed in response to the observed needs of the infant. A to I students are prepared to work with parents perinatally, to assist with the infant at birth, to prepare beautiful and responsive environments, and to work in infant and toddler communities in schools, day care settings, hospitals and wherever children under age three are found. It is a course of great benefit, not only for people who work with children, but also for those interested in raising children.

◆ Diploma
The students who complete the course requirements, including passing the written and oral examinations, will receive the 0-3 diploma of the Association Montessori Internationale.

Sara Brady
(AMI 0-3 Trainer) Sydney, Australia
Sara holds AMI diplomas at both Assistants to Infancy and Children’s House levels. She has a Masters in Education from Loyola College in Maryland.
Sara has worked extensively in a variety of Montessori settings: long-day care, pre-school and Montessori in the home. She has enjoyed working in Nido and Infant Communities as well as parent-infant classes. Sara lives in Sydney, Australia with her husband and three children. Sara is qualified as an AMI Assistants to Infancy trainer and is also an examiner at this level.
She conducts teacher training internationally and is the currently the Director of Training in Dallas, China, Sydney and Japan.
Translator:
Takako Fukatsu : An AMI recognised Montessori Teacher and works as a translator for the Montessori Teacher Training course in Japan.

◆ Qualifications for applicants
Educationally qualified people and those who work in a kindergarten or nursery and nursery teachers.
Those who graduated from university or college, or are due to graduate in the following spring of the application year.
This course requires particular abilities, and personalities with sincerity, creativity, observation skills and understanding. We will consider some exceptions to the academic qualifications.
A certain level of computer skills will be required.

*The reception will be closed as soon as the capacity is reached.
*The course can be cancelled if the number of applicants do not reach the minimum.
◆ Tuition Fee
¥990,000 (Tax included)
*All the applicants must pay by Japanese Yen.
* Tuition fee are not refundable without exception.
*The tuition fee will be fully returned to all the students in case the course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment.
◆ Interviews
・Applicants interviews are held from October via zoom or telephone.
・Applicants from abroad will be interviewed through emails and Zoom and the result will be announced immediately.
